WRIT to Sell Country Club Towers in Arlington for $37.8M

Washington Real Estate Investment Trust (WRIT) reported Monday that it has entered into an agreement to sell Country Club Towers, a 227-unit multifamily property located in Arlington, VA.

The contract purchase price for Country Club Towers is $37.8 million.

WRIT acquired Country Club Towers in July 1969, four years after the building was first constructed. Totaling 159,000 square feet, Country Club Towers was 97 percent leased as of December 31, 2014.

The buyer was not identified.

Located at 2400 South Glebe Road in Arlington, the 8-story building features amenities including a pool and fitness center, a billiards room, a business center and garage parking. WRIT says it also features newly renovated units.
